RANCH NAVIGATION

How to find the dirt.

We are located just off Highway 385, minutes from Hot Springs, South Dakota. Look for the weathered timber archway of the M Lazy 5 Ranch and follow the dirt track west.

We operate courtesy of the M Lazy 5 Ranch. This is primitive boondocking at its purest—no hookups, no water, and no trash service. Pack it in, pack it out, and leave the prairie cleaner than you found it.

THE SPOT

400 Acres of Wild

No pavement, no painted lines, and absolutely zero hookups. Park your rig wherever you find flat ground on our 400 acres of dirt. Just respect the cattle guards and keep your distance from the bison.

The donation box is located at the main entrance cattle guard. Your voluntary contributions go directly toward maintaining the ranch access roads and keeping this South Dakota prairie free for independent boondockers.
