M Lazy 5 Ranch

Rules of the raw dirt.

We offer raw boondocking on 400 acres of untouched South Dakota prairie. There are no hookups, no hosts, and no safety nets. Read the terms before you park.

The Reality

Three unbending survival rules.

Total self-sufficiency

Zero waste services

Honor system stays

Your rig must carry its own water, power, and waste holding. We provide absolutely zero hookups, outlets, or water spigots on this acreage.

Pack it in, pack it out. There are no trash bins, dumpsters, or dump stations. Every scrap of garbage leaves the ranch inside your vehicle.

Camping is free for seven days, but keeping this gate open costs money. Drop a contribution in the physical lockbox to keep the prairie accessible.

The Lockbox

We don't charge a dime, but maintaining 400 acres of dirt takes actual work. If you enjoyed the silence, help us keep the gate unlocked.
